About Dawn Judge

disk-334Hi, I am a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker United Realtors in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. My office is in Mooresville (Race City USA), which is about a half hour north of Charlotte, NC.

I wanted to get into real estate because of my love of vintage homes. I want to purchase vintage homes, restore them to their original glory and resell them. Yes, I have been warned that the profit will probably not be worth it. But, it is worth it to me. I am passionate about defending these beautiful and charming homes against sitting idle and decaying. To me, that is such a crime!

I believe all homes have a soul. Ever walk into a house and get a bad vibe? Ever walk into a house and just instantly feel like you are at home? That’s what I mean when I say soul. They want a family to care for them and, in return, provide so much more than just shelter.

It is my mission to make them useful and desirable again. If you are interested in restoring vintage homes check out Preservation North Carolina.

My hobbies include gardening, sewing, painting, drawing, antiquing, reading, movies and woodworking. (Although, I haven’t had much time to do these things since I started in real estate; except read…contracts!)

I live in the country. My home is surrounded by cow pastures and cornfields. Beyond the pastures and cornfields, there is a beautiful view of a small mountain. It’s very relaxing here. After a hectic day of real estate, I am grateful for the tranquility!

    Dawn,
I appreciate your passion for vintage homes. Your site is very interesting and informative. We have other things in common, also. I live in the country, approximately 3/8 mile off the public highway. Our home is surrounded by a view of hardwood trees which we enjoy year round. I’m back on the farm I grew up on as a kid. My mother is still living, she’ll be 88 in January, and she still lives alone and pretty much takes care of herself. We moved back here several years ago to be here for her as she needs us.
One of my hobbies is woodworking, but, like you, it’s difficult to find the time to persue it. If you ever need specialized moldings you can’t find for your vintage homes, I have the equipment to run these moldings in any amounts you might need.
I appreciate your inquery for a price quotation of a Home Inspection for the home in Stony Point, NC. Please let me know how we compare price wise. As you know, though, price isn’t always the best consideration for any item or service…it’s what you get for your money that counts. All of our home inspections include a limited warranty for the property inspected. We have a tremendous amount of experience inspecting homes (around 55 years between us). We provide detailed, yet easy to read and understand, reports with digital color pictures. We word our reports in a neutral, non-alarming verbage, so we don’t scare your clients away. We deliver the reports via the internet with a link and password. You do not have to download the report, just click to view or print.
I know I’ve gone on and on, hope you’ve stuck with me this far. I realize we probably met briefly at our “listing inspection” presentation at your office on December the 4th, but I look forward to meeting you personally and getting to know you better.
We want to do anything we can to help you sell homes. The “FREE” listing inspection certificate we left at your office has not yet been used. Why not discuss this with some of your listings. This would give you a chance to evaluate the difference in having the inspection done at listing as opposed to closing.

Thanks for your time and your interest in a quote. Hope to hear from you soon with a positive reply.

    Sincerely,
    Terry Waggoner
